What fun we had and how wonderful it was to have Humane Society cats and dogs visit us on the tenth of September. Our four legged visitors brightened the day for those who stopped by to welcome them.
     The Rev. Andrew Gross blessed them, Dr. Lisa Bucht shared some medical and other health related basics, Jennifer from Critter Cuts brought two of her own magnificent dogs and demonstrated the how to of grooming nails, cleaning ears and keeping coats clean and shiny. And, as a final treat Grace Bortolli brought her own Dachshund “Zazzy” to demonstrate some easy obedience training.
     Not many people showed for this heartwarming event but those who did enjoyed a very special afternoon and we can only hope that maybe someone took it to their heart to adopt from the Humane Society. Thank you to everyone who took time to bring the needs and care of rescue animals to the attention of us all.
