"Senior Nutrition Services" is a non-profit organization which recognizes the need of the aging population to maintain independence while living at home. Senior Nutrition Services has been serving meals in the tri-county area since 1988.

Nutritious hot noon meals are served Monday - Friday at the Covert Civic Center. Please call a day in advance to make a reservation.

A supper sack meal is available depending on your Nutritional Risk Score. Senior Nutrition Services also serves hot and frozen home delivered meals in South Haven and the surrounding area for seniors that meet the homebound criteria.

A supper sack meal and/or frozen weekend meals may be delivered to your home also depending on your Nutritional Risk Score. Liquid meals are available by doctor's prescription only. To make a referral for the homebound program please call (269)925-0137 or (800) 722-5392.

The meals are not free. We do request a donation based on your income. We expect seniors or their families to donate what they can afford to help with the cost of providing the meal. To reserve a meal at the Covert Civic Center call Senior Nutrition at 764-8448.
